Well, according to that overgrown rodent down in Pennsylvania, there’s six more weeks of winter coming. However, considering the way things have been going up here in Maine, that’s a pretty optimistic forecast because there’s times when it’s felt like there’s another six months of ice and snow around the corner. So we’ll take it.

1) Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa – “Give It Everything You Got”

I mean… damn… One of our favorite tracks from the “so fresh it smells like a brand new car” category, a new collaboration between these two called Black Coffee. Y’all should be checking this stuff out.

2) Albert King – “I’ll Be Doggone”

Well, that last tune definitely put us in a mood for some more funky blues, so here’s the Velvet Bulldozer covering a Marvin Gaye classic.

3) Beth Hart & Joe Bonamassa – “Black Coffee”

All right, so we couldn’t just go with one cut from this album, so here’s the title track for y’all to sooth your soul…

4) Buddy Guy & Stevie Ray Vaughan – “Champagne & Reefer”

Two masters, one video. What else you want fer nothin’?

5) Tumbledown Saints – “Just Your Fool”

Might as well finish up the week with some Little Walter by way of the Rolling Stones.
